Around Auntie Jo's Place

A look into the distant east.
Boris & Kris at Jo's place.
The Next Morning-Wednesday
After toast and coffee, we walked up the hill & fed the chooks at John & Judy's. Then we took a real neat day trip. First over to Lochyersleigh, a 10,000 acre working ranch, that is a very historical place. We were met by the owner Jean Onions and her housekeeper Chrisy, who entertained and treated us to tea and scones in the Manor House. Jean then gave us a tour of the house ( On the National Heritage list) and a brief history of the ranch. Lochyersleigh has many structures that you would expect to see on a spread of this size. We roamed about the property near the stables, barns and into the woolshed. Auntie Jo at one time maintained the horses on the property.

Views into the ranch from Lochyersleigh road.

The Stables

In the bailing room.

A neat tree on property as we left towards Goulburn.
From here we drove into Goulburn and did the Courthouse, Railway Station and St. Saviour's Cathedral. Also food experience at the 'club hell' bistro. We picked up some bread and beer returning to Jo Ann's for a late dinner and relaxed.

You wait and it may come.
Nativity scene.

After a Light breakfast, we did walkabout into John's paddocks. Jo Ann with Cricket used John's ATV with babe then the Girls then Kris taking turns riding thru the grasses, eventually spooking the cattle.
Loaded up and ready to go.
Looking back from top of the hill.
Alright! Who are these guys in my back yard?
